London has several airports that handle private jets, and they are not interchangeable. Farnborough is dedicated to business aviation, which makes it a common choice for private flights to London.
Farnborough. It is a dedicated business aviation airport, so there is no commercial traffic to queue behind. The transfer into central London depends on road traffic, so we plan it together with the flight.
Other airports. Luton, Northolt, Biggin Hill and London City also serve private flights. Each has its own slot limits and restrictions, and availability is tight at peak times. The aircraft type also decides which airport is possible.
Heathrow and Gatwick. These are busy commercial airports, so they are rarely the best fit for a private jet.
