Munich is a major European hub for business and for travel to the Bavarian Alps. The international airport is modern and efficient, but private jet operations are subject to strict rules.
Night restrictions. Flights are generally restricted between 22:00 and 06:00.
Noise. Noise regulations are tightly enforced, and only quieter aircraft types are permitted during the marginal hours.
Slots. Slots are mandatory and can be difficult to secure at peak times such as Oktoberfest, the Christmas markets and the ski season.
