St. Moritz is one of the best-known winter resorts in the Swiss Alps. Its season includes events such as the White Turf horse races on the frozen lake and the Snow Polo World Cup, and our clients fly in for the skiing and the events. We arrange the flight to Samedan (Engadin Airport), the airport closest to the resort, or to Zurich when the aircraft or the conditions call for it, and coordinate the transfer from there.

Operational Challenges
Flying to St. Moritz means arriving at Samedan, which sits at over 5,600 feet and is among the highest airports in Europe. The runway is short, mountains surround it, and the approach has no instrument landing system.
Operating conditions. Samedan allows daylight operations only, under visual conditions, so flights can only take place between sunrise and sunset and clear weather is essential.
Crew. Only specially trained crews are approved to operate here.
Parking. Parking is limited and must be secured in advance.
