Zurich is Switzerland’s busiest airport and a major hub for business and leisure travel. For private aviation, it also has some of the tightest operating rules in the region.
Operating hours. Flights are permitted between 06:00 and 23:30 local time. Outside that window, no arrival or departure is possible, so a delayed departure elsewhere can leave an aircraft unable to land.
Slots. Winter slots are in especially high demand, so requests should be placed early.
Noise. Noise rules are strictly enforced, and louder aircraft types pay additional charges.
